My name is Jan and I am the creator behind Balm Valley Co. My friends call me ‘Sunshine’ and I invite you to do the same!

I’m sixty-plus years young with a zeal for soap making and living life on the spectrum; turning personal quirks into sources of creativity and success.

Small Batch. Hand-Crafted.

Balm Valley hand-crafted soaps and candles are made with the highest quality organic oils and wax.

Each soap loaf is made the old-fashioned way - always fresh and always pure. Since we are a small batch producer, we only release one 10 bar loaf at a time unless a custom order has been requested.

Candles and wax melts are always hand poured with love with attention to the highest quality, burn time and scent throw. Artificial chemicals or pthalates will never be used  

Makers Mark

Because each soap loaf is made entirely by hand, there may be slight variations in color, surface or size. Consider these variations our personal mark of individuality and love.

-Raw and organic Shea Butter
-Organic and ethically sourced Palm Done Right

Fragrance

It is the commitment of Balm Valley Co that all fragrances used are clean; meaning they do not contain any phthalates or parabens; they are designed specifically to be used in soap, candles and skincare.

I source all fragrances from a select group of makers that go through a rigorous process to create scents you will enjoy, and that are either essential, natural or natural derived (51% all natural).

None of the fragrances used in any of our products contain phthalates or parabens. None contain any animal by-products. None contain any toxic ingredients. 

Colorants

All clay or mica colorants are always vegan, ethically sourced, and cruelty-free

Worth the Wait

Please allow 7-14 business days for your order to ship. All orders are filled in the order they are received. While most soaps will ship within 2-3 days, availability and cure times may vary necessitating a longer wait. Candles and melts will ship upon payment (unless they are part of a soap order requiring a longer wait time)  

Each soap bar wrap will be hand-marked on the back with the cure date letting you know the best time to enjoy your soap. The longer the cure, the longer lasting, the bar.
